Editor’s notes This dresser takes its inspiration from campaign-style furniture that developed primarily in the 18th–19th centuries for British military officers and travelers. The curved corners and base molding and brass gallery rail give it a subtle sophistication, and the reclaimed wood, brushed to bring out the wood grain make this piece a lovely, soulful centerpiece for a well appointed room. The configuration is just right for a master bedroom, with plenty of storage. We also think it would be chic in an entry in place of a console, or in a dining room as a bar.
