Folk Art Tripod Chair Vintage. Found in a flea market in Lyon. Made of wood. Stained finish. Mortise and tenon joinery. 19.75” W x 15.75” D x 32” H 19.75” W x 15.75” D x 17” H Editor’s notes At first glance this chair is so simple. But take a closer look. The piece was hand made with traditional techniques such as tongue and groove joinery for the slats that make up the seat, mortise and tenon joinery for the legs which creates three lovely exposed tenons on the seat’s surface, and hand carved legs. It’s a pretty little piece of art.
